Jennifer Kesse is an American woman who has been missing from Orlando, Florida since 2006.
On January 23, 2006, Jennifer went to work as usual and returned home to her condo. She spoke to her family and boyfriend on the phone that evening. Every morning Jennifer usually texted her boyfriend, but on the morning of January 24, 2006, she did not. She had not been seen or heard from since the night before.
Her employer notified her parents when Jennifer did not show up for work that day which was highly unusual. They rushed to her condo and saw an unmade bed, wet towel and clothes lain out, leading police to believe Jennifer had showered and dressed for work that day. It has been claimed that Jennifer’s phone had been turned off the day before, however Jennifer’s mother denied this claim in 2017 and states that law enforcement has never told her that. Jennifer’s car was gone.
Jennifer’s car was later found at a nearby apartment complex, and valuables remained inside. Surveillance tapes show an unidentified person parking the car and walking away. The identity of this individual has never been discovered, and their face is obscured by a fence. The suspect is estimated at between 5’3″ and 5’5″ in height. A search dog tracked the scent from the car back to Jennifer’s condo, indicating that after the car was abandoned, the suspect returned to the complex.

Who took Jennifer?
At the time of her disappearance, Jennifer’s condo complex was undergoing significant renovations, and investigators interrogated multiple construction workers. Also questioned were Jennifer’s boyfriend, ex-boyfriend and coworkers.
The main theory circulating online by amateur sleuthers is that Jennifer had been watched by one of the construction workers, who then abducted her. The car was hidden in a nearby complex to delay a missing report and lead people to believe it was possible Jennifer had driven off somewhere.
